Big Annoucment :)

Hello my lovelies!

      So, being me, I completely forgot about this blog. I knew in some part of the back of my mind I totally would, but I didn't think I would forget it that quickly! Why I happened to stumble across this again, you ask? Well, truth be told, I think I'm going to start writing on Movellas again. I know I have said this before, but I feel like this is the right time to do so.

      I stopped writing because it all became a little bit too much. People were pressuring me to update all the time and I honestly just wasn't getting anything out of it anymore. The whole writing thing started out to be really fun. I would write every single day till my fingers would cramp and eventually give out on me all together. I wanted to be a better writer and get noticed by the general population and when I did that, it was like chaos erupted.

      Anyone who writes online will know exactly what I'm talking about when I say that the pressure to make everything perfect was almost crushing. You have so many people reading what you are doing and so many people who expect something from you that you may or may not have. It's absolutely mental.

      And sometimes you want to change the plot in your story, but once you tell people that, it causes a general uproar. It's. Absolutely. Mental.

      Anyways, all of that made me want to stray away from writing. It became something I did for the people instead of for myself. It's been almost a year and a half since I have continuously written any type of story, and I honestly miss it very much. I miss the sound of my fingers pounding away on the keyboard and the rush of pure bliss I get when I finally finish a difficult chapter. It was my own little getaway and now that it's gone, I can't help but ache for all of it again. That is why I figured I would start from the beginning. Of course, Movellas isn't the same and it probably never will be quite like what it was when I joined it, but I think it's worth a shot.

      That is what brings me to my big announcement. As most of you may or may not know, I am one of the authors to the famous story 'Amnesia' on Movellas that has over 152k reads and is in the process of being published. If you know this, then you must know that Rosie and I are trying to edit everything and completely change the plot of the story for the better. What you do NOT know is that we are changing the name of it and I have had the honor of making the cover for the big reveal.

      If you are reading this, then you are one of the first people to know about this little announcement. We haven't told the general 'Amnesia' crowd, so congrats on staying ahead of the gossip!

      But you still don't know the name! Ha!

      Oh, don't give me that look! Okay, fine, I guess I will tell you!

      The name of the new title is... Drumroll please!...... Between Us!

      Now, I don't know about you, but I'm majorly excited for this! But, wait! There's more! We wanted to somehow incorporate our Movellas family into this, so we're throwing a little contest of sorts. Everyone who creates a video with the hashtag #AmnesiaFamily and tags Rosie and I in it (it can be on Movellas or Twitter) saying their favorite part in the book, or who they ship, or just a general note to us, will get their name mentioned in the published and final version of the book! So if you want you're name to be seen by millions or just want to support the book, then I really insist you become apart of this! If you have any questions, message me on Movellas or where ever! I really hope you guys love it!

You're Mine Thoughts

      Hello my lovelies! Today I just finished writing the ended to the first You're Mine, which sucked. I don't know how I managed to make the ending so shitty, but I did. Only me guys.

      But it got me to thinking about all the characters and I got kind of sad (some tears may have been shed, but we won't get into that). The thing is, I miss Harry and Charlotte. I say this way too often and everyone is just like,"Well go write some more and get over it!" but I honestly can't. When I have the urge to write about them, I always think back to the original, where Harry has a "tortured soul" and Charlotte still thinks he's a douche. As weird as it sounds, I liked their hot and cold relationship. I felt like you could really see the character develop and the chemistry wasn't rushed. Charlotte was so confused on how she felt, you didn't know if she was in love with Harry or hated him. In a weird way, I liked that.

      I also liked Harry's past with Cara and Chloe. I felt like both of those characters were just looked over and had a little to do with the plot, but I could have done without them. Harry and Cara's relationship was put very vague and I felt like I should have explored that more and set more flashbacks. Plus, with Chloe, everyone HATED her. I remember getting comments a lot on how much they hated her and for some weird reason, this rubbed me the wrong way. I feel like I portrayed her as a slut and a bitch, but there was never really a reason for it. The problem with the original was that I was so young and my writing was still developing. Also the plot was shit, but we also won't get into that.

      Another two unexplored characters were Jewelea and Liam. I actually really liked Jewelea because she was this headstrong girl who reminded me of Charlotte in so many ways. I felt like she had a story that needed to be told as well, but it again was overlooked. I was going to have Zayn cheat on Perrie with her and I did mention it in one of the chapters, but I was in such a rush to finish it, after Harry and Charlotte left for Holmes Chapel, Jewelea was never mentioned.

      Now Liam was a whole different story. I kind of made Liam Harry's little bitch and that made me really dislike Liam's character. I was going to have this big love triangle going on, but after Liam left Charlotte with Harry, I just immediately was like,"Screw Liam! Harry is obviously going to get Charlotte so this lover triangle is over." I really wish I would have made Liam a little more independent and actually born with a backbone. Also, I hated how he just left Charlotte at the mansion without even saying goodbye. Like, what a douche. I know that it seems like I have control over the characters, but it's honestly not that simple.

      After I develop a character, I write what I feel like that character would react. I don't even know I'm doing this, but we all know that Liam wouldn't disobey Harry, so he didn't. That's why with the re-write, I really want to make him a little bit more bad ass. I don't know. Maybe I'll like his character a bit more if that happens and I think you all will too.

      Honestly guys, I do miss Harry and Charlotte. I really do. I sometimes daydream about them having a conversation at the pool (if you remember that chapter then you are awesome) and they will be talking about something random and just start laughing. As lame as it sounds, I feel like they are real people who live inside my brain. And as crazy as it sounds, I'll actually look at something and be like,"Oh my god, Harry would hate that." and then Charlotte and Harry will start having a conversation about it in my mind. It just happens and it sometimes gets annoying on how often it does. (Like right now I'm thinking about Harry rolling his eyes and turning to Charlotte, saying,"And she calls us annoying. Unbelievable!" and then Charlotte hits him in the arm for him to shut up.) Can you not see that happening?

      This is why I am so excited to re-write everything. It's a redo on all of my mistakes. Now, I have a bunch of key point that I want to add in and I really am going to try to explore every characters back story. I am planning on doing 3 books, like I planned the first time. So don't worry about permanently loosing the characters. For me, they never go anywhere.

"Finally, some peace and quiet. That girl cannot think strait for the life of her. I swear to god, if she makes me a loser in the next story, I will kill somebody." 

"Harry, shut up." 

"Fine. I hope she pairs me up with Chloe, since you seem to take her side on everything." 

"You did not just say that to me." 

"Oh, but I did." 

"You're an ass." 

"Yep, but I'm the cutest ass you'll ever meet."

50 Random Things About Me Tag

            Hello my lovelies, El here! So, if you're reading this, then you probably know about my new blog! Welcome. I decided to make this blog so I could update you guys on all things You're Mine and all things going on with me. 

      I didn't know what to write to actually kick off this blog, so I decided to do a tag. If you know me at all, then this must not be a big shocker to you. I absolutely love tags and I have decided that I will be doing "Tag Tuesdays" for every Tuesday that I remember. I know it isn't Tuesday, but whatever! Here is the tag! 



1. Where were you 3 hours ago?

      Honestly, if I'm thinking about it, I was probably in the exact same spot I am now. If I'm right, then I was probably lounging on my bed watching Harry Potter. I'm lame, I know.

2. Who are you in love with?

      Again, if you know me at all then you will immediately know the answer to this. I am currently in love with Ashton Irwin. Well, me and about 10,000 other girls are in love with him... Love sucks, doesn't it?

3. Have you ever eaten a crayon?

      Um, no... Ew. Like honestly, what would you be thinking to actually eat a crayon? Like,"Mommy, I just wanted to taste the rainbow!" Yeah, um no, I haven't.

4. Is there anything pink within 10 feet of you?

      I have bits and pieces of pink everywhere in my room. I'm not much of a pink person, but it seems to show up every time I re-decorate my room. (*Hint* Around my birthday, I will be showing you guys before and after pictures of my room while I decorate.)

5. When is the last time you went to the mall?

      I went to the mall about a week ago with my friend Makayla and my mom. I bought this super cute Fifth Harmony outfit at Wet Seal and bought a ton of makeup at MAC. I had a pretty good time.

6. Are you wearing socks right now?

      Ew, no! I literally hate socks and I almost never wear them unless I am forced. I feel like my feet are trapped every time I wear them and it is just super uncomfortable for me. Plus, we have concrete floors and I run a lot in the house, so socks don't really mix well in that equation.

7. Does your family have a car worth over $2,000?

      Um, doesn't everybody? Kidding. Yeah, we have a BMW (moms car) and a Jeep (dads car). We also have 3 other Jeeps (one is my brothers and the other two are my dads) and we have 3 three wheelers. I am getting a Lexus on my 15 and a half birthday, so I'm excited for that. Long story short, my family just likes expensive cars.

8. When was the last time you drove out of town?

      I actually drove down to Oklahoma City with my mom to my aunt's baby shower. It was so adorable, but I spent most of my time in the back room writing. There is only so much squealing and "look how much you've grown!" a girl can take.

9. Have you been to the movies in the last 5 days?

      Nope. The last movie I saw was TMNT with one of my friends Gia. It. Was. Awesome.

10. Are you hot?

      Well, I don't have a fever so I guess not... ;)

11. What was the last thing you had to drink?

      Water 'cause I'm thirsty. #TheThirstIsReal

12. What are you wearing right now?

      Oh you don't even want me to tell you because it is such a fashion disaster. I would never be caught dead in these clothes in front of anyone but my family. So I'll save you guys and just keep it at, PJ'S.

13. Do you wash your car or let the car wash do it?

      I'm lazy, so car wash.

14. Last food that you ate?

      As gross as it sounds, I ate salmon, baked potatoes, and peas. (with water, of course.)

      I can't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning so how do you expect me to remember what happened last week? That is like forever in white girl years.

16. Have you bought any clothing items in the last week?

      I bought that Fifth Harmony outfit last week if that counts?

      Does running to the fridge count?

18. What's the last sporting event you watched?

      I watched a little bit of the OSU game with my dad, but I am an OU girl, so I didn't watch that much.

      I really like owls and penguins. I have no idea why, but they are just so f-ing cute, it's unreal.

20. Your dream vaca?

      My dream vacation would just be a trip to London with all my friends. I have always wanted to visit London and doing it with my friends would be even better. I think we would all have a blast. :)

22. Worst injury you've ever had?

      I broke my arm once when I was little because my brother pushed me off the couch... What can I say? We got that sibling love going on.

24. Do you miss anyone right now?

      I miss my best friend Roseli, who is in the city right now. I haven't seen her in forever and it's killing me.

25. Last play you saw?

      I love watching professional plays so this question is making me sad because I haven't seen one in a while. The last one I saw though was Peter Pan and it was one of those Broadway type of shows, so it was amazing. That was a couple of years ago, so I definitely need to go see another one soon.

26. What is your secret weapon to lure the opposite sex?

      I've got Doritios and $5.00, is that not enough?

27. What are your plans for tonight?

      Usually teenagers would be going to parties and all that junk on a Friday night, but I think I'm just going to chill for a little while. I went to my brothers football game last night and we didn't get home until about 1:00 in the morning so I am absolutely beat. I think I might have a movie marathon or something, who knows?

28. Who is the last person you sent a text message to?

     The last person I sent a text to was my friend Roseli and it says,"*over oh my god autocorrect!!". If that isn't an insight to my life, I don't know what is.

29. Next trip you are going to take?

      My family and I have been talking about going to the beach next summer, but it's probably not going to happen. I love to travel, but I have had enough of it lately.

30. Ever go to camp?

      Oh my god, yes! I went to a horseback riding camp two summers ago with two of my best friends. It was kind of fun, but tons of bad things happened in that short amount of time. #1 I had my period the entire time we were there, so I couldn't swim at all because I had never tried tampons before (TMI but who cares.) #2 my nose got really dry and I got a really bad nose bleed that would not stop and I almost had to go to the hospital for blood loss #3 there was a lesbian at camp who had a crush on me. Yep, it was a pretty eventful week.

31. Are you an honor roll student in school?

      No. I could be, but I suck at math so it's doubtful. I get A's in all my other classes except math, so I don't really care.

32. What do you want to know about the future?

      There are a lot of things that I would be dying to know, but I probably would decline the offer (as much as it would kill me) if I ever got the chance. I feel like it would take away the fun of not knowing what the future holds. Unless I ended up getting with Ashton Irwin, then I would want to know all about that.

33. Are you wearing any perfume?

      Yes, I am. Right now I am obsessed with the Bethany Mota perfume at Aeropostale. It smells so good and I highly recommend it if you are in search for a new perfume.

34. Are you due sometime this year for a doctors visit?

      If the dentist counts then I am. I'm going sometime this month to get my teeth cleaned.

35. Where is your best friend?

      Obviously not here. Haha, kidding. It depends on which one you are talking about. Rosie is in New Mexico, Roseli is in school, Karsen and Cayden are at their house, Telli is at school, Wa-Mei is at school, Makayla is at school, Grace is at school, and Gia is at school. Basically everyone is at school except me.

36. How is your best friend?

      Again, it depends on which one you are talking about. I think overall they are all good though.

37. Do you have a tan?

      No! I am really pale so I sunburn easily instead of actually tanning. All my friends call me a vampire because I literally look like I have porcelain skin. I also am not an outdoors person so thats another reason why.

38. What are you listening to right now?

      The sound of myself typing? I usually don't listen to music while I write because it messes me up so bad.

39. Do you collect anything?

      I collect snow globes as lame as it sounds. I always get one when I travel to a new state.

40. Who is the biggest gossiper you know?

      This is going to sound so bad, but its probably me. I know pretty much everything about everybody and I pick up gossip super quick. I never make stuff up about people, but I do tend to gossip a bit with my group of girls. We just kind of do it to keep tabs on people so I wouldn't really say it was a bad thing. Eh, who knows?

41. Last time you got stopped by a cop or pulled over?

      I personally haven't ever gotten pulled over, but I've been in the car with other people who have.

42. Have you ever drank soda from a straw?

      Okay, this officially the weirdest question on here. Of course I have.

45. Last time you took a shower? 

      Hmm.. about a month ago. I'm really not the shower type of person. TOTALLY KIDDING! It was about 20 minutes ago actually.

     When don't I need to do the laundry? I change outfits like five times a day. XD

47. What is your heritage? 

      I am Scottish on my dads side and French on my moms side. Maybe that's why I'm so pale and have curly hair... 

48. Are you someone's best friend? 

      I freaking hope so, or those years would have been a waste! 

49. Are you rich? 

      I wouldn't say rich, but yes my family is pretty wealthy. I'm extremely lucky to have that. 

50. What were you doing at 12AM last night? 

      Driving home from the football game.
